Join your fellow Hinsdaleans and the Library for the details on the eclipse and eclipse themed snacks! Then, we'll head outside at 1:45pm with our eclipse glasses to watch the eclipse together.
Join us as for the eclipse! On April 8, between 12:51pm and 3:22pm (with the max point at 2:07pm) we will see a partial total eclipse here in Hinsdale. This eclipse will have about 94% coverage.
During this watch party, you'll get details on the eclipse and watch the NASA live feed of it as it occurs across the country. We will also offer eclipse-themed snacks before we head out to our back patio at 1:45 p.m. to watch the eclipse occur.
The first 50 registrants will be guaranteed a pair of eclipse glasses. (Or, register for a pair here and bring it with you!)
