Prepare for the October 14 Annular and April 8th Total Eclipses with free eclipse glasses from your library!
The eclipses are coming!
On October 14, between 11am and 3pm, we will see a partial annular eclipse (about 50% coverage) here in Hinsdale. Prepare for this rare event with some free eclipse glasses from the library, and then save them for the upcoming total eclipse on April 8th, 2024! You can find more info about the upcoming October eclipse here.
Remember, there is no time during the upcoming annular eclipse where it is safe to look at the sun without eclipse glasses!
