Join us for a walk in Fullersburg Woods led by Beth Bengtson to practice shinrin-yoku, or "forest bathing," to promote well-being and get back to nature!
This class will meet outside the Nature Education Center at Fullersburg Woods.
Shinrin-yoku, the Japanese practice of "forest bathing" is about connecting with nature through our senses to promote health and a sense of well-being. Forest bathing is a slow, meditative walk that invites participants to be present in their body and experience the pleasures of nature. Studies have shown forest bathing helps reduce stress, boost immunity, and lift mood.
