Come celebrate Moon Festival outside with singer Gloria Leung from Old Town School of Folk Music, YumDum Food Truck (free appetizers, with meals available for purchase), a talent show, and crafts.
Raised in Hong Kong and married into a Korean-American family, Gloria Leung loves folk music from all over the world. She teaches early childhood music classes and Chinese Children's Songs at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago. Gloria will perform from 6:15–6:45.
YumDum food truck has won awards for several of their dishes and catered high-profile events in the city. Free appetizers will be provided to guests, with full meals available for purchase.
We’ll be outside the Library after it closes if weather permits; otherwise, we’ll reopen the building at 6 p.m. and have fun in the Youth Services Department.
No registration required. Parking is limited, so plan for a short walk from your street parking space to the Library.
