Feeling a need to "head for the hills?" From the scenic Rock River to the undulating landscape untouched by the glaciers that flattened most of our state, this corner of our state is truly beautiful.

Illinois traveler and HPL staffer John Kokoris will return to share tips for exploring Northern Illinois and attractions across state lines in the hills of Wisconsin and Iowa. Plan the perfect fall road trip at HPL!

This program is timed so that you can also attend the 6:30 p.m. art reception in our Quiet Reading Room. Look at the art, grab a refreshment, and then head down to the travel program.
