Knitting is easier than you think and summer is a great time to learn so that you are ready to knit your first scarf or hat just in time for cool fall weather! After you've learned the basics, you will be ready to join HPL's Needlework Nights, which are held every other Thursday night in the Quiet Room. You can learn from seasoned knitters and try your hand at simple knitting projects to learn how to read a pattern.

- How to knit
Session 2: August 20
- Review of topics from Session 1
- How to purl
Session 3: September 10
- Review of topics from Sessions 1 and 3
- How to follow a basic pattern to knit a scarf
